Design and Manufacturing of a Pressure Switch for the Off-Road Vehicle Industry

Our client, a veteran of the Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle Industry, required a more rugged pressure switch. While their vehicles were designed to combat any weather and terrain, some of the components they needed weren't up to the same standards.As a result, they approached us and we quickly developed an all-weather compact switch with adjustable set point capability. We increased the value of the product by designing it to be IP68 rated components- the highest level of water-protection.
Prototypes were created for evaluation for client testing and we used that feedback to finalize and the design. Not only did we provide our client with a cost-effective weather-proof product that meets their harsh environmental requirements, but we also incorporated industry standard specifications.
